Change

Happy Saturday, y'all!

As you can see {to the right of this post} I figured out how to add a little spot so I can track my miles. It's a little overwhelming looking at the number of miles I have left to go, but I just started and have a bunch of time to get those miles in before April 1, 2015.

No one likes change, right? Well, I guess depending on what it is. BUT if you really think about it, change is the only thing we can count on to be constantly in our lives. Somewhere along the line there will be a change in your life, big or small, and it is your decision how to react to it. I'm not a super fan of huge changes, but I'm married to a Marine, so I'm quickly getting over that ;)

Why am I rambling about change you ask? Well, I'm changing things up again with my running...again.

Running has been killing my leg. When I first started it hurt, but the more I stuck with running, the better it felt. That all changed. I completed my Tuesday & Thursday runs this week and laid on the floor crying because my leg hurt so bad. Obviously something is off with my leg. So, since I'm a smart adult, I've decided to not run until I can get to the doctor. BUT that does NOT mean I'm quitting. I'm sticking with my schedule and just walking on my run days.

I'm not a very happy camper, but I'm not really sure what I expected. Having a bunch of metal in my leg has proven time and time again to be a big fat guarantee that I'll have issues with my leg for the rest of my life.

I've been thinking and reflecting about the journey I've been on this year, and I feel like time and time again, God has shown up with a huge neon sign saying, "I love you, but you are not in control, trust me, I've got this!"

On a happy change note, E is finishing up with his flight training here in North Carolina and we will be moving to California next month! Since E is out of town this weekend, I'm starting to plan for our cross country trip :) Any suggestions of great places to stop along the way?

I'll leave you with this fabulous quote for motivation :)

Have a FABULOUS weekend!
